The email account that is not an Apple ID address , yet configured in the iPhone Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support , their passwords can be reset from a web browser with essential account credentials for gmail accounts see the link https://support.google.com/mail/answer/41078?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DiOS&oco=1
