How do you remove family sharing when it won’t let you remove family sharing

Does it provide a reason why it won't let you? If it does, it would have helped immensely if you had included that in your first post since it would tell us why you can't remove it and what solution you need.

See this part of the support article about disbanding a family. It may be you have a child account that needs to be deleted first. Leave Family Sharing - Apple Support

By the way, marking your post as "Best answer" when it doesn't contain the solution to your issue will only mean that people will generally not look at your question anymore because you have solved it. ;-)
