Want to upgrade my iOS for my phone

There are different ways to ensure the highest iOS that your device will support is installed on your device. For an iPhone 6S or 6S Plus that's iOS 15.7.6

You can also use Mac and PC computers to update system software:

When updating, your device will update to the highest version currently available that it will support, or it will just say it is up to date (and can't go any higher) and won't install anything. If you want to run a higher system version than your current device will run, that you need to buy a newer device.

Wisdom105 - To update your iPhone:

• Tap Settings
• Then tap General
• Next, tap Software Update

If you iPhone is eligible for an update, you will be prompted to do so. Follow the instructions on the screen. If these directions do not help, then contacts Apple Support. You can find phone numbers here:

We cannot do it for you. You must do it yourself, following the directions provided here. Or if you can, make an appointment at the local Apple Store and they can help you do it.

Upgrading your iOS is more about keeping your data safe and secure. To update your iPhone, select Settings > General > Software Update. If your phone is eligible for an update, you will be prompted to do so.
