Apple TV 4K Shuts Off While In Use

Update from my original post from 06/08/23. After updating the firmware to 17.0 and also restarting the Apple TV I still have the issue with the Apple TV "Computer App" shutting off at my preset time 15 minutes when the Apple TV is in use and streaming (not sitting idle). I also tried "Restarting" the Apple TV but that didn't fix the problem. Update 17.0 changed some of the preset shutoff times to choose from but didn't fix the shutoff time issue to allow the Computer App (and other music apps) to continue to stream while still in use. Your preset time will shut the app off. You will need to set your shutoff time to allow more time before shutting off or set it to "Never".

Update: After updating the firmware to 16.6 and also restarting the Apple TV I still have the issue (when the Apple TV is in use/streaming not sitting idle) of the Apple TV shutting off at my preset time 15 min for some music apps but not all. See below:

Pandora & Spotify now stay On

Amazon Music & iHeart Radio Do Not. They continue to shutoff at 15-20 mins.

Computer App to stream using Homesharing (I use it to stream my iTunes library from my PC) still shutoffs after 15 mins.

I haven't tried streaming a program using apps like Netflix, Prime, HBO, etc. I will do that and repost my finding. In the interim I have set my Apple TV to shutoff after 5 Hours.

Same problem we had with 13.0. Need a fix Apple.
