I can’t change the font size on Markup when I am using it to fill a PDF or any form. Why?
So… in both preview on my MacBook Pro (Ventura) and on both my iPad and iPhone, I can’t change the font size on Markup when I am using it to fill a PDF or any form. Why?
- I click the box with the … and the pencil, then I get my text boxes. Great, love it.
- I go to enter my text and it’s either giant and doesn’t fit in the given area or so small it’s painful to read and takes up the space of one normal word. Not wonderful.
- I try to edit the font on my MacBook Pro in Preview in every way I can find. It shrinks temporarily but as soon as I click away… 💥 it’s huge/small again. I close my eyes and do some tapping exercises cause this is on my last nerve. I know Apple wouldn’t fail me in this way.
- I try pulling it up on both my iPad and iPhone. Unfortunately on these I can’t even find a place to change the font size that’s not inserting individual text boxes and sizing them. And for a form with over 200 spots to fill is just not gonna happen. I die a little on the inside.
- I try a few more things then Google. Surely it must be me not Apple. Both Google and Apple disappoint me. I openly shed a tear.
- So now I am here. Please don’t fail me Apple Community. I need to complete this obscenely long PDF and I refuse to fill out and size individual text boxes. I shall perish from the vapours brought upon me by this travesty, you’re my only hope.
