My music is stopping when phone locks

I upgraded earlier this week to iOS 16.5. I find it peculiar that since then, my music doesn't play consistently. It just stops playing. I utilize this component for work as I am a dance instructor. Someone, please help. Yes, I've already restarted my phone (a few times).
