HomePod Connection issue

When I set my HomePod as the primary audio output for my Apple TV, I cannot airplay from my iPhone or Ipad. If I remove it as primary output from Apple TV, I can easily airplay from other devices but I have to select homepod as temporary audio output every time for Apple TV. Is there any fix for this issue so I can seemingly play from Apple TV or any other device? Thank you.

Apple TV connecting to HomePod issue. Is anyone else experiencing issues connecting their HomePod to their Apple TV through their settings on the Apple TV interface? I cannot locate on the most recent update where to connect my HomePod to my Apple TV. The only current resolution I have found is to connect the two devices together through my iPhone. But then it still connects to my TV speakers and the HomePod and there is lagging in sound between the two. I then have to go back into the AirPlay tab on my phone to then disconnect the TV speaker. The whole new AirPlay interface is very confusing and isn't very seamless. I used to be able to do it through the 'audio and video' tab in settings on the Apple TV but it isn't there anymore. It's only giving me the TV speaker option. Can anyone help?

HomePod not showing up in default audio output appleTV 4K In my Apple TV audio settings, I am unable to see my HomePod Mini as an option to set as my default audio output. Both the Apple TV 4K and HomePod Mini are running the last Software 14.3, and both are located in the same room and connected to the same WiFi network.

HomePod Minis Airplay with Both Audio and Video We have a pair of HomePod Minis paired with each other for stereo. We also have an Apple TV. Though most of our viewing occurs on platforms within the Apple TV, sometimes we watch live sports that are only available via other platforms, like ESPN+. When doing so, we can start streaming the content on one of our iPhones and then use AirPlay to “cast” it on the TV so that we can watch on a much bigger screen. However, we can’t seem to get audio output from the HomePod Minis simultaneously with the video. If I start streaming on the phone and then swipe down to get to the Control Center, I can click the small AirPlay icon, and I can select both the Apple TV and HomePod Minis, as if they’re bundled together, like this: But this results in audio output from the HomePod Minis with no video being cast to the TV. Curiously, both of them appear selected here, though: If I click on Control Other Speakers & TVs, then it looks like the speakers are connected but the Apple TV isn’t: So am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to stream video and audio via AirPlay in this way?
