Lost progress in Oceanhorn 2 on Apple TV

Yesterday I played a really long and successful session of Oceanhorn 2 on my Apple TV. I have played this game for several days and I think the total play-time was around 15 hours.

Today I wanted to continue where I had left off, but all the progress was gone and there were also no backup files listed.

When I go to the Game Center I can see my achievements in the game, but I have no way of continuing there.

Please help it would really be a major disappointment if I had to start all over again!

I was logged in with the same account and nobody else uses the Apple TV. I am currently running tvOS 16.5 (20L563)

I hope there is some way to re-gain the progress and level I had achieved!

Yea - Thank you for the reply and the link!

I already contacted them, but they are of no help. Their position is, that it must have been lost in the iCloud, hence it is an Apple issue and not their‘s. 🤷🏻‍♂️🥺

I guess, I‘ll have to start over, but it kind of takes away some of the fun, especially always fearing it might happen again.
