Logic Pro overload

I’ve tried everything in all the forums on here and nada, still overloading.

imac 27” i5 4tb ssd 40+ GB ram

still glitches out and then I get the overload error. Tried resetting the DVRAM, same error. Changed sample rate, same error, froze all tracks, same error, I’m going to delete Logic and reinstall and if that doesn’t fix it, I’m leaving Logic after 10+ years. I have clients waiting and this is too much of a hassle. Maybe I’ll bust out my adats, they do their job with little to 0 fuss.

iMac 27″, macOS 13.4

Well, is it all projects?

what about plugins you’re using, have you checked if it’s a particular one?

is it CPU or your disk that’s peaking - what does the performance meter suggest?

what about external connections to your Mac?

generally, pain that it is, I’d start with a clean project, no third party plugins, minimum external connections other than AI and slowly test adding data and your normal plugins.

also make sure you SSD has plenty of space, you’re not having other programs open at the same time and keep an eye on the performance meter as you do this.

im sure you know these tips, but let us know.
