What is the audio quality for streaming Apple Music from Android to devices on my network?

In the Apple Music app on your Android device, you can choose Spatial Audio and Lossless Audio. Go to Settings > Audio > Spatial Audio. Go to Settings > Audio > Audio Quality > Lossless Audio. Please note that enabling these you will use more data.

Lossless playback requires wired speakers and in some circumstances a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) as described at About lossless audio in Apple Music.

As for the quality level, there are no published official bitrate figures for Apple Music, but you are able to choose from High Quality, Lossless, or High Resolution Lossless (keep in mind the limitations for lossless audio previously mentioned). The actual quality you experience will depend on several factors including the Apple Music setting, the connection type, your data or internet access speeds and the capabilities of the speakers or device you stream to.
