Parts and service history

With iOS 15.2 and later and iPhone XR, iPhone XS models, and later—including iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)—you can go to Settings > General > About for the parts and service history of your iPhone. You can also find out if the battery has been replaced. If the replacement was done using genuine Apple parts and processes, "Genuine Apple Part" will appear next to Battery.

Did you have the battery replaced recently? If yes, the shop installed the wrong battery. Take the phone back and get your money back.

Then, take the phone to an Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop to have the correct battery installed. Hopefully, they will agree to do this since technically, the phone was tampered with by an unauthorized person who installed the wrong battery.

If you did not have the battery replaced, take the phone in to the Apple Store or authorized Apple Service shop to let them run some checks on the battery.
