Software updates password
I can’t remember the passwords for my MacBook Air software update. I’m unable to update my Mac. How do I update without the password?

You need to use your Mac user account, that is your login user name to sign in to the App Store.

Your Apple ID is the personal account you use with all Apple products and services. It includes the email address and password you use to sign in, as well as the contact, payment, and security details that you use with Apple.
You can’t merge multiple Apple ID accounts.
