iPhone X Backdoor giving hacker Full Control?

On a few occasions over the last 4 months, I'll notice my phone will go crazy, calling people, accessing photos, deleting messages, and texting words—on its own. At first I thought there was water on my phone. Then today I watched my phone try to unlock itself. My passcode is 6 characters, and whatever was in control of my phone guessed the first 3 letters right, until it eventually maxed out it's attempts and then my phone was locked out.

I can't make this up. There is a serious security flaw, my phone has the latest 16.5 iOS update.

What you are experiencing with your iPhone X is a failing display touch screen. You are seeing ghost touches. Sometimes, this happens when the iPhone is charging and sometimes it happens when there is a bad interaction with a screen protector or the iPhone case.

(1) Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

(2)  If that does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.

Batteries Plus is a nationwide company and they do advertise Apple repairs, although they are not an Authorized Apple Service provider and they do not use Apple parts. The reviews on their service is mixed with many reporting poor quality with screen replacements that only last a few months. They do offer a 6 month warranty on repairs, but not sure if they would take responsibility or not.

I'm sorry to hear about the unusual behavior you're experiencing with your phone. It's important to address potential security concerns promptly. Here are a few steps you can take:

  1. Restart your phone: Begin by restarting your device to see if it resolves the issue. Sometimes, temporary glitches can cause unexpected behavior, and a restart can help clear them.
  2. Update your apps: Ensure that all your apps, including third-party apps, are up to date. Developers often release updates to address bugs and security vulnerabilities.
  3. Check for malware: Run a security scan on your device using a reputable antivirus or anti-malware app. This can help identify and remove any potential malicious software that could be causing the unusual behavior.
  4. Review app permissions: Take a look at the permissions granted to your apps and revoke any unnecessary or suspicious permissions. Limiting the access granted to apps can help protect your data and privacy.
  5. Reset settings: Consider resetting your device's settings to their default values. This action will not delete your data but will revert any customized settings back to their original state. It can help resolve software-related issues.
  6. Contact Apple Support: If the issue persists, reach out to Apple Support for further assistance. They have the expertise to investigate the problem and provide guidance tailored to your specific situation.

Remember to backup your important data regularly to ensure that you don't lose any valuable information. It's always a good practice to prioritize security and keep your devices updated with the latest software releases.

Did you read the rest of the thread before posting your ChatGPT copypasta? If you had you would have realized this is not a security issue but rather a hardware problem.
