As we are all Apple users, like yourself, in this community, we have no access to your accounts or details in order to make this change for you. We'd like to help, however.
Your Apple ID is the account that you use to access all Apple services and make all of your devices work together seamlessly. After you log in, you can use the App Store, iCloud, iMessage, Apple Music, Apple TV+ and more.
Seems you need your new number listed in your Apple ID account online.
Wondering if you have access to the old iPhone number, or another trusted device (one listed in your Apple ID account) on which you can receive a verification code.

In the security section
add the new phone number first, to allow deleting of the old one.
Allow 24 hours for the change to update wherever the number is used for Apple
