cant see any new emails on outlook

As MS Office/Outlook is not an Apple product and there are not as many Office users active here as one would think, I believe you will be better served by asking in Microsoft's Office forums. MS Office questions posted in Apple’s forums can linger here a long time without comment in some cases.

I use Outlook and all is fine. Did it ever work and is this the old or new version of outlook? I had issue with the new so went back to old version. I also had to have Yahoo generate a unique PW to work correctly.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
