New iPhone 14 pro heat issue

My brand new iPhone 14 pro is heating while doing just web browsing or doing YouTube (720p) !!

i know that it works a lot after any restore, but I did mine 36 hours ago, background refresh disabled, multiple reboot, all app closed, etc !!

I "had" to go iPhone 14 after my 13 having faceid stopping working for no reasons (probably just after 16.4's update.. as for many people). I decided to go "all-in" and offer me the object of all my dreams -> the "pro" model.. and here's what I got ??!!! Just another customer with a 14 pro model with abnormal heating issue ??!!

I paid that amount of cash for an overheating costly iPhone ??

After 20 years of being a die hard iOS/iPhone customer.. I'm thinking about leaving Apple for good !!

I just want some high quality WORKING peace of technology !!

jeez..

Hello MrEBE,

If your iPhone is warm, please check out this link which explains some situations when your device may get warm, and how to help keep it within the range of normal operating temperatures: If your iPhone or iPad gets too hot or too cold

Use iOS and iPadOS devices where the ambient temperature is between 0º and 35º C (32º to 95º F). Low- or high-temperature conditions might cause your device to change its behavior to regulate its temperature. Using an iOS or iPadOS device in very hot conditions can permanently shorten battery life.
Store your device where the temperature is between -20º and 45º C (-4º to 113º F). Don’t leave your device in your car, because temperatures in parked cars can exceed this range.

Your device might get warm

You might notice that your device feels warmer when you:
* Set up your device the first time
* Restore from a backup
* Wirelessly charge your device
* Use graphics-intensive or processor-intensive apps, games, or features, including augmented-reality apps
* Stream high-quality video

These conditions are normal, and your device will return to a regular temperature when the process is complete or when you finish your activity. If your device doesn't display a temperature warning, you can keep using your device.

Thanks!
