iPhone 12 mini shows wrong purchase date (April 1978) Hi everyone, I’ve been using my iPhone 12 mini for the past 6 months and it works great. But when I checked the warranty on Apple’s website, it shows the purchase date as April 1978, which is clearly wrong. Has anyone else had this issue? Will this affect my warranty or support? It means your phone was never registered as being sold in Apple’s database. If you bought it from Apple or an authorized Apple reseller, take it back and have the sale registered. If you bought it from anyone else it may have been a phone stolen from the supply chain, or a counterfeit phone.
