Library/Application Support/CloudDocs/session/r folder 37,36 GB

I have a folder located at Library/Application Support/CloudDocs/session/r. It occupies 37.36 GB of storage space and contains multiple versions of two PDF documents. However, when I attempt to delete these documents from the folder, I encounter error code -50. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thank you!

Excalamtion-pointed error clouds alongside iCloud Drive files I have a folder in iCloud Drive → Documents that I recently added. It's full of 26 .jpeg files. iCloud is properly syncing these files; they're accessible from my iPhone. However, at the end of each file name is an iCloud cloud icon with an exclamation point inside, and hovering over the icon, macOS just tells me, "Error". Can anybody explain what I'm seeing here (see below).

iCloud Finder Folder Copy Paste Error - 36 Hey Guys, i rann into exact same problem like some other people here. If I try to copy folders within the folders in iCloud Drive (documents / desktop / etc.) I get this Error: Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in “” cannot be read or written Error -36 And another problem maybe it is related. If i click on a folders cloud icon to download it it says folder "" can't be downloaded!? Copying files is not a problem! Just folders. When I deactivate iCloud Drive I can copy folders on my desktop without any problems. I have the problem on two machines since yesterday. I clean-installed them both and updated them to OS X Monterey. On MacPro 6.1 and a MacBook Pro 15" Late 2015. Booting in safe mode doesn't helped. Deactivate iCloud Drive and reactivateing doesn't help. Any new ideas to fix that? Thank you guys!

Error 36 in Finder for every folder I try to copy to an external drive So I wanted to do a backup of my documents on my external HDD and got this error 36 but it doesn't specify which file is affected. It just stops copying everything. After trying different drives (external USB stick with APFS, external HDD with exFAT, USB-C SSD with APFS) I found out that I get the same error whenever I try to copy a folder. I can copy single files though. Of course this can't be the workaround here. My MacOS is the latest version Monterey 12.6 and I am really running out of options with this issue. The usual dot_clean method doesn't work at all. And since it happens with every folder I try it with I really find it hard to believe that they are all corrupted.

Hi krolevetsmaria,

If you have not already, we'd recommend shutting your Mac down entirely then start it back up and make sure you're connected to the internet. After that, if the duplicate file still shows in that folder or the space is not reclaimed, contact Apple Support to take a closer look at the issue.
