If your Face ID is not working even after updating your phone, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Face ID Settings: Make sure that Face ID is enabled in your iPhone's settings. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode and ensure that the toggle switches for iPhone Unlock and other Face ID features are turned on. If it’s not on, follow the steps here: Set up Face ID on iPhone – Apple Support (UK)
  2. Clean the TrueDepth Camera: Ensure that the TrueDepth camera on the front of your iPhone is clean and free from any dirt, smudges, or obstructions. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently clean the camera area.
  3. Reset Face ID: If cleaning the camera does not solve the issue, you can try resetting Face ID. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, and tap on "Reset Face ID." Follow the instructions to set up Face ID again from scratch.
  4. Remove Face ID Data: If the previous steps don't work, you can try removing your existing Face ID data and setting it up again. Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode, enter your passcode, and then tap on "Reset Face ID." Afterward, tap on "Set Up Face ID" to configure Face ID again.

If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's best to reach out to Apple Support for further assistance.
