If you mean in the Preview > File > Open Recent menu, just select Clear Menu. If you mean you have a lot of windows of files open in Preview, just click on the red close button for each window or press Command W for each.

what exactly is the issue with your "Preview images"...?
What is "clear you Preview". Please clarify.
There are quite a few and I wanted to get rid of them...
All the images, PDF’s, screenshots, etc.. that hole up in Preview
