Apple CarPlay wired Disconnection

Ever since the last update(or the one before), My CarPlay(wired connection) disconnects ever so often. It still charges the phone but can't use the Car Play interface. I bought the expensive apple cable and now it works. So any off brand cables don't work anymore where they used to. Anyone else with that same issue? It seems to me that it is a money grabbing thing.

Apple Carplay Not Working With iPhone 15 Pro I have an Acura MDX 2019, and my iPhone 13 works fine with the cable attached into the Carplay slot. For some reason, even after using a data cable and buying a new cable to make it work, it does not show up in the Carplay Menu on the phone, and the car does not recognize any device being connected. However, the phone still charges while being plugged into the car, and Bluetooth works fine. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? I'll try updating to the latest IOS version to see if that works (I'm on IOS 17.3 currently).

Apple CarPlay not working on iPhone 12 Hi there, I have a Suzuki Vitara 2022. When I first purchased the car apple CarPlay worked fine. Then just randomly stopped working. I've now bought an apple cable and it still isn't working, when the phone plugs in the 'allow' notification appears and then disappears within a few seconds and you can't select 'allow'. I've gone through multiple forums and followed all of the steps to get it working but nothing seems to work........has anyone had the same issue as its driving me nuts.

I have 16.5.1 in a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid.

If an expensive cable will solve the problem, I am game.

I found out that the only thing that fixed it was to purchase an apple charger. Every other cable, no matter how expensive didn’t work properly.
