so i'm trying to do inapp purchases like i have before with my apple wallet, but now it won't give me the option to use a card from my apple wallet and it just charges the primary card on my family sharing and i don't know why.

If you don't want to charge the family payment method the only other option I know of is to add store credit/gift cards to your account.
