How to turn on CC on tv.apple.com on PC

Question

How to turn on CC on tv.apple.com on PC

I have looked everywhere, checked articles and questions - how do you turn on CC?? I am not using the app, just the plain old website thru my Chrome browser on a windows 11 laptop.

When you hover the mouse pointer over the player window, you should see the speech balloon in the lower right corner. Click there to configure subtitles and/or captions. Captions would have CC after the language name.

I swear I am not crazy. I tried that about a hundred different ways and then finally gave up and just watched my show. Now I go back into it and there is that little speech balloon. It was NOT THERE before!!!!!

if you are tied of using the web appletv way then for windows11 there is a preview of apples upcoming appletv app for windows in windows app store you can get along with their apple music app

they seem pretty feature complete to me
