How to completely remove a software/app

Hi everybody,

I need to remove some programs/tools/application on my MacBook Pro. However, if I delete only the .app extension, then it might be that some folders and/or files are still kept on my system (e.g. settings, log-files, etc.).

Do you know if there are some good tools to completely remove ALL/EVERYTHING what an application installed?

Or is there perhaps an integrated process/tool inside MacOS?

Thanx for your answerz,

Giovanni

You should use an app's uninstaller if it has one. Otherwise, the only one I would recommend is the free AppCleaner. You still have to be careful using it and review the items it marks for deletion.
