iPhone 14 screen went black

my iPhone 14 screen went black and there was a loading wheel on the screen. I was on a call but the call didn’t cut off. The screen just did the thing then went on to Lock Screen. What was the cause of this?

Probably the Springboard (the app that displays the Home screen) crashed. It happens. If it happens again contact Apple support to have it checked out.
