I need to uninstall a program and it won't delete. how do I delete it?
Finder/applications/highlight the program and drag it to the trash.

Click on the app then right click, delete. Or use the free app "AppCleaner" and remove.
Unless your school or employer are forcing you to use this app, then don't bother reinstalling it. Anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software are not needed on a Mac. These types of apps usually cause more problems than they solve because they interfere with the normal operation of macOS and are often the source of system performance issues as well.
It would be better to run EtreCheck and post the report here so we can review the report to see what may be causing the performance issues with your Mac. EtreCheck does not install anything and can be run directly from the Downloads folder. Once your issues are resolved, then you can easily move the app to the Trash for easy removal.

It is PC Matic, I am trying to uninstall so I can reinstall it.
this app has worked in the past, but my mac is running slower and I cannot run the PC Matic scan, not sure what is going on.
It can be tricky on a trackpad. I tap and hold with one finger, then use another finger to drag.
