You can use these steps to pair AirPods:



Pair AirPods with iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Before you begin, make sure your device has the latest version of iOS or iPadOS installed.
1. On your device, go to Settings  > Bluetooth, then turn on Bluetooth.
2. Open the case with your AirPods inside, then hold it next to your device.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions, then tap Done.

Pair AirPods with Apple Watch
Before you begin, make sure your Apple Watch has the latest version of watchOS installed.
1. On Apple Watch, open the Settings app , then tap Bluetooth.
2. Tap AirPods on the Bluetooth screen to connect.

Pair AirPods with Mac
Before you begin, make sure your Mac has the latest version of macOS installed.
1. Open the case with your AirPods inside, then hold it next to your Mac.
2. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case for about five seconds, or until the status light flashes white.
3. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth.
4. In the list of devices, select your AirPods, then click Connect.


Pair AirPods (1st, 2nd, or 3rd generation)


If you're pairing with a non-Apple device, you can use these steps to put the AirPods in pairing mode:


With your AirPods in the charging case, open the lid, then press and hold the setup button on the back of the AirPods case for about five seconds, or until the status light flashes white.
