Hey there dunnlor,

While an iCloud Shared Photo Library is already considered an album within Photos, you can always create an album of photos you'd like to keep from the iCloud Shard Photo Library should you wish. Here are the steps that include showing how to create an album in your iPad: Use photo albums in Photos on iPad

Bruno75,

Thanks for the reply. My wife and I would like to have multiple shared albums in the shared libraries; one shared album for each trip we take. My understanding from the article is that we cannot create a shared album, but rather must each create our own album for each trip. Is there any way that we can share an album from a shared library?

Thanks,

dunnlor

dunnlor,

What you're trying to do is possible it's just a matter of how you prefer the photos to be organize. You can create 1 shared album with your wife and upload all your photos there. From that point you can allow the metadata of each photo allow you to find the location data you're location for. Alternatively you can setup a new album for each trip from either your device or your wife's. Here's how:

"Create a new shared album

  1. Tap Albums, tap the Add button, then tap New Shared Album.
  2. Give the album a name, then tap Next.
  3. Choose people to invite, or type an email address or phone number, then tap Create."

We hope this helps.

Take care.
