How to temporarily deactivate your Apple ID

Sign in with your Apple ID at privacy.apple.com on a Mac, PC, iPhone or iPad, and select "Request to deactivate your account". If you can’t see this option, it means that this feature is not available in your country or region.

When you request to deactivate your account, you receive a unique alphanumeric access code. Make sure that you keep this access code in a safe place – you must have it to reactivate your account.

After we verify that you are the account holder making the request, we deactivate your account.

MacBook Air not allowing to sign out of iCloud. It says it’s been deactivated due to not having a CC on file. Reached to Apple the first time and they were able to get my iCloud reactivated. The Mac didn’t have a single issue whatsoever until yesterday. It asked me to enter password for iCloud again but it said iCloud deactivated. Reached out to Apple a second time and this time I was told it was because no CC was imputed into the account. And I will need to provide proof of purchase. But I bought the Mac through marketplace and don’t have an actual receipt. Just the post from where and when I bought it. They said that I will need to reset computer and wait for them to approve proof of purchase. But I don’t want to have to reset my Mac simply to wait for an approval. Is there a way around this?
