Apple Pay Requires Reboot to Work Again

On my new MacBook Pro M2 Max (2023 model), Touch-ID based Apple Pay fails to work after as little as one successful use. Then I have to reboot the machine to use it again.

Apple Pay MacBook Pro double click to pay locks the computer I don't use Touch ID and I fight with this every time I try to use Apple Pay on my MacBook Pro. Whenever I use Apple Pay I get prompted to double click the Touch ID button to pay but it keeps locking my computer. I've tried doing it in different time intervals etc.. but it takes about 20 times of having to put my password in to unlock my computer before it finally works. Cannot setup Apple Pay on MacBook Pro M3 Hello I cannot set up Apple Pay on my brand new and totally updated MacBook Pro M3. It says: “Apple Pay has been disabled because the security settings of this Mac were modified.” Already read and applied this support article: If Apple Pay on your Mac is turned off because security settings were modified - Apple Support My security of the startup disk is set to "total". I have also denied nearly all "Privacy and Security" permissions to app and still doesn't work. I don't know if to me applies the "when your Mac detects third-party software or malware that affects its ability to keep your payment information secure." because I cannot verify (how?) which apps can affect Apple Pay. Is there a list? Should I delete random apps until it works? Thanks for any suggestion.
