I'm new to MacOS. I want to know whether should I use Google Chrome or use Brave in place of it. I mainly watch youtube videos at 1080p on my mac so I am deciding to use safari for it and I want to use an extension which is not on safari for which I want to choose between Chrome or Brave.
Please give me an answer with respect to which browser will drain more battery life overtime.

You cannot install Chrome without installing all of Google's invasive, power-demanding system modifications that constantly scour your Mac in its relentless effort to harvest and upload all your personal information to Google so they can sell it to anyone willing to pay for it.
Brave doesn't do any of that, but it can use any Chrome extension available in their Web Store.

Thanks, so it means that brave will not have any background running nasty power hungry processes. There is only one chrome extension I want to use.
