Carplay vs Helmet! Ready.... FIGHT!

Okay. I have:

IPhone 14

Sena Calvary Helmet

Sony head unit.

Current OS on all devices.

On my motorcycle.

My goal is to pair the helmet via BT and use the USB for the Carplay. The helmet has good noise cancelation so I can do phone calls while riding. But when I have the phone running carplay it disconnects the helmet.

Can't use an external mic on the head unit because wind and road noise. Don't want to listen to music on the helmet speakers when I have much better ones hooked to the head unit.

Is it possible? Or am I living a pipe dream
