Issue: Apple Watch- Unable to access the control center | “ Touch and hold the bottom of the watch face. Wait for Control Center to show, then swipe up.”
Solution: Press the Digital crown button and then, press the side button, to access the (Control Center).

Push the button under the dial :) it brings up the control center
That didn’t work. My control center is gone. Battery status is nonexistent now so I have no idea what it is until the battery is low enough for an alert. And none of these threads are helpful. Thanks apple.
Control centre easier to use, sadly the watches face side swipe has gone which ruins the watch and renders it unusable.
