Mini Mac with 2011 27” Imac
I a 27" 2011 Imac which is not working at quick or efficent as it was and I was wondering if I bought a mac mini whether it would override my currant system and work with my mac as a monitor

Please see the very restrictive hardware and OS requirement for Apple's now-dead Target Display Mode (TDM):

Although the 2011 iMac was among the few iMacs that could do TDM, the last Minis that could use it as a display are now almost four years old.
