Unable to turn off iCloud backup for specific apps before they are backed up If I install an app that takes up a lot of space, like Genshin Impact, I can’t back it up to iCloud, so I usually just turn off the backup because the info is saved to an account anyways. However, recently I’ve noticed that I am not able to turn off backups for specific apps until *after* they have been backed up, which doesn’t work for apps that are too big to backup. This makes my iPad unable to automatically back up until I uninstall the app that can’t be backed up. iCloud don't back up apps , rather data stored in inbuilt apps .
