Trying to connect 2 external monitors to 2022 13" MBPro M2; not detecting second monitor for extended desktop

Having the same issue. System Settings > 'Displays' only recognizes either one external display or the other when both USB-C adapters are connected.


MacBook Pro, 2022, M2, Ventura 13.4, 2 USB-C ports


Displays are connected via adapter's HDMI ports.


1st USB-C

Adapter: MOKiN model#: MOUC0401

Display: AOC 24B2W1 model#:24B2XH


2nd USB-C

Adapter: MOKiN model#: MUC0501B

Display: ViewSonic VX3276-FHD model#: VS17220


Have tried DisplayLink Manager and macOS InstantView and neither app detects USB display. I also have a UtechSmart adapter model#:UCN 3273 I have tried and doesn't work either.

Does your model Mac support two external monitors?

Are those DisplayLink-equipped adapters? The DisplayLink workaround (for having multiple, software-driven displays) requires DisplayLink support in the external device as well as using a third-party DisplayLink driver.


It's not a good idea to mix and match USB graphics products from DisplayLink and other vendors.
