my caller has trouble hearing me when I connect my iphone 12 pro to my oticon hearin aids

I also have the same issue iPhone 12, Jabra APP, started before the latest iOS update to 17.1.1, did update hoping to solve the problem. Went to Verizon store they said it was the APP, then went to Costco hearing Aid folks, they say it is the phone (typical answer). Microphone works fine on speaker or iPhone, only when using hearing aids. Hopefully Apple is working on a solution. I disconnected and reconnected and restarted the iPhone, etc. nothing has helped...BOB

That works for me, but you can't do it during a call. The Mic Input option isn't there if you triple click during a call. I prefer to have Mic Input on most of the time, and only switch it off if it's noisy.

The only way around it that I found is to switch the call to speaker, then triple click and turn Mic Input off, then switch back to the aids. And hope the caller is patient enough to stay on the line while you do all that when they can't understand what you're saying.

I have an iPhone 13 (IOS 17.2.1) and Oticon hearing aids. The solution that worked was

Settings->Accessibity->Hearing Devices->(your hearing aid)->Forget this device

Then Pair according to your hearing aid directions. In my case, I followed instructions at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I1wVAofeXOk

Maria’s fix is a miracle!! Costco told my hubs it was the iPhone 15+ & basically he’d have to use the mic in the hearing aids but that is not true. Congrats to Maria the issue is fixed here too & I can finally hear him when he calls! I’d say she should get a big bonus from Jabra, Costco & Apple! Thanks a million Maria.

Same issue with hearing aids and Bluetooth. Phone calls on Bluetooth worked great until a few weeks ago. Now people say they can’t hear me when I’m on Bluetooth. Cleaned my phone speakers but that didn’t help. Apple please fix this!

In my case, nothing did helped until now. This was totally an Iphone software issue.

Having migrated to IOS 17.1.1 the problem is fairly solved.

Apple support guided me to unpair my hearing aids. Forget this device then repair them to the phone. Resound aids. It worked

Upgrading to IOS17.1.1 solved my problem.

This was completely an Iphone SW bug

If you would update to IOS 17.1.1, it will solve your problem.

This (Marcello image of setting) works for 17.5.1 iPhone SE v3 with Jabra HA. Triple click home button (on SE) when phone not in use to set.
