How to use Keychain Access

I've migrated all of my passwords from 1Password to Keychain because of the access to passwords across my various devices. That all works as expected and advertised. BUT, I cannot seem to get Keychain Access to show my passwords. I can only use the passwords to automatically open a website.

When I open Keychain Access and search for an item with a password (for example my Directv.com account, I get several kinds of options: Password Manager Metadata, Web form Password, and application password. What are all of these options and which ones will reveal the password?

I can attach a screenshot of this example if it doesn't expose my data somehow.

Is there a lesson plan for using Keychain Access?
