My phone won’t let me type on insta or setting the only apps it will let me type in messages and safari

Hi. I am having the same problem. I closed app, restarted phone and still having that problem. Fully updated my phone. It is happening with every app other than safari and messages. Is the only way to solve it deleting every single app I have and redownloading?
