Am I limited to ONLY use Apple Card with Apple Pay in order to get the daily cash maximum percentage of 2%-3%? Or, by swipping the physical card at select merchants I'll also get the 2%-3%?
Im under the impression that if I decide to swipe the card for everyhting I purchase I make, I'll only get 1%. Are we pushed to use our phones to pay for purchases in order to get the 2%-3% deal? Is this correct?

Yes that is correct. You will need to use Apple Pay to receive the unlimited 2% cash back (anywhere that accepts Apple Pay) and 3% cash back at select merchants.
Whenever you use the physical card, you will only receive 1% cash back.
All cash back is unlimited and will automatically be deposited into the Apple Cash Card (once the charge is posted).
