Audio not outputting from monitor with HDMI connection to M2 Macbook Air

When my M2 MacBook Air is connected to the monitor (SAMSUNG 27" Odyssey G32A FHD

) through HDMI, the audio is not displayed through the external speaker connecting to the monitor through AUX, even after changing the sound output and reinstalling the OS.

But when I switch the HDMI connect to my Intel MacBook Pro, it works as normal.

Does anyone have a fix for this?
