Post iOS 16.5 update hdmi issues

After updating to iOS 16.5 on my iPhone 13 I can no longer watch downloaded content from streaming services via hdmi. I just get an infinite loading circle on my tv screen the second I hit play. Everything else works up till that point. Not even Apple plus content will play. Frustrated as I’ve had no issues up until I updated to iOS 16.5.

I phone 15 HDMI connector doesn’t work with ios 26.1 HDMI connector doesn’t work with ios 26.1 Ever since I update my i phone 15 to iOS 26.1, the HDMI adapter accessory no longer works. In most streaming apps I have no sound or no picture or both when connected to my pc obs studio. My brother has the same phone but is still running iOS 18.5. The adapter works fine with his. It is not the cable or adapter or tv that has the issue. Is this a known problem? (It seems to be after searching the net but not seeing solutions) How can I fix it?
