I want to upgrade to iCloud+ for 200GB for $2.99.

I was wondering if I can pay for one year and not pay for the month. And what would happen if I didn't pay the iCloud+ for the month? And when does it end for the monthly payment? Or is it just every month for the whole year and the next?

Apple only offers monthly billing for iCloud storage. You continue paying monthly until you cancel (cancel by downgrading back to the free 5GB plan). See information in Downgrade or cancel your iCloud+ plan - Apple Support That article also has information about what happens when your storage is cancelled.
