I just had someone contact me with this question; Union Clip is an app clip for the Union app used primarily for food and beverage payment services (think paying a bill by QR code at the local bar).
The app clip installs itself automatically when you scan the code or tap a NFC reader that would otherwise require the full app. It’s intended to make app-based things easier for the end user to manage without installing yet ANOTHER app… lol!
In the case of the Union Clip app clip, the user who wanted it gone just loaded the full Union app and deleted it. The uninstaller grabbed the app clip on the way to the dumpster. Hope this helps!
