Switch your AirPods to another device - Apple Support
If you're signed in with the same Apple ID on your devices, your AirPods will switch automatically from listening to music on your iPad to answering a phone call on your iPhone, for example.

AirPods paired with an Apple ID of another, no.
If somebody else needs help finding theirs, they can log in at and use https://iCloud.com/find
*Requires AirPods (2nd or 3rd gen), AirPods Pro (1st or 2nd gen), or AirPods Max
