I bought some AirPods gen 2 from Costco yesterday but when I had a look at the limited warranty, I only have 5 months.

Something has apparently not yet been completed data-transfer wise between Costco and Apple.
What’s supposed to occur …
You receive your “high value” item at the “cage” after paying.
The “cage attendant” enters all of your info AND scans-in the device’s serial number into “Costco’s” system.
They transmit all data to Apple so that your “warranty clock” begins at purchase.
It might simply be that this “sync” process takes longer than you’ve allowed ???
Suggest that you might give it at least thru Tuesday AM - a FULL “business weekday” - before following up w/ Costco.
