Radar colors in weather app

on iphone 14 iOS 16.5 the radar colors are not typical shades of red and green but are more pinks and blues.

No one at Apple thought the oddball colors that Dark Sky used were deviant from normal Doppler and NEXRAD radar images used by the U.S. National Weather Service. Probably like a tooth extraction to convince them to adapt the normal radar coloration.


There are countless other weather applications available for iOS/iPadOS/macOS/tvOS that do adhere to the visual norm.
