Mac OS Mail

I am on Mac mini with intel processor and Ventura os.

I use Mac mail a lot and I have just noticed that my inbox is full of mails because when my office sends me a schedule and I reply to their mail I also get automatic response from the office (you know the drill...."thank you for contacting us etc....") and the original and automatically generated mail are both in inbox separately and my answer from in between is only in sent folder.

I have tried to organize by conversation ("view" drop down menu) multiple times and it allows me to check/uncheck it but no changes appear to the mail app. Also I keep choosing "collapse all conversations" but the option never is checked. Tried rebooting, closing and opening mail app and much more. Any suggestions?

Well...at first I thought "how MORE clear can I be about it?" but then....YES, you understood my issue with the mail app. And this button you marked is amazing (it didn't exist in previous versions of Mac OS, because I rearranged my toolbar just last year and haven't seen that option) BUT.... still, problem exists.

Imagine this: company sends me an email saying "here's your weekly schedule", I respond with "thank you, I confirm", then their server sends automatic response "we thank you for being in touch, blah blah...."

Now: all those mails are displayed separately in inbox (the incoming ones) and outgoing one is in the outbox. And after trying your solution, the issue remains....Now their original mail and my answer are sorted into one conversation, but their answer appears as a separated one. And this never happened before Ventura . I am devastated .

Not sure I understand what exactly is the issue you are asking about...non-the-less
