Hello. I want to change the picture that comes up when I turn on my macbook air. There is a small round window with a picture of a flower and I'd like to replace it, but not sure how to do it. Any advice or guidance?

Could you confirm if you are talking about a sunflower? This is the standard image associated with created users; if you go to system settings and choose Users & Groups, you will find all the created/available users on your macOS. On Users & Groups, you can also click on your user and change the default image (emoji, memoji, monogram, Cameras, and even your photos)
Go into System Settings > Apple ID and choose "Personal Information"
and make your changes there.
