Social media access to photos

Went to settings on iPhone and there is no toggle button to “ALLOW ACCESS” in Facebook app settings.

These are my only options …

Location

Local Network

Siri & Search

Notifications

Background App Refresh

Cellular Data

Went to photo access in settings and no social media apps come up

Worked fine yesterday

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 16

iOS 17.4.1 not allowing Meta to access photos I just updated to iOS 17.4.1 and I can no longer download or upload photos to/from Facebook or Instagram. It tells me to go to my settings to allow access, but when I open Settings there is no photo access option to select. When I go to either Facebook or Instagram in Settings, I have the option of altering settings for Location, Local Network, Siri & Search, Notifications, Background App Refresh, and Cellular Data, but nothing for photo access. When I go to Privacy & Security and click the Photos link, it does not give me any options to allow access for Facebook or Instagram. How do I enable access with this new iOS update?

Photo access When trying to post on Facebook marketplace I click on upload photo and it sends me to access my photos in settings to enable but when I go to Photos in settings there’s no switch on or off for photo access I cannot post on FacebookI can only post on Instagram if I taken a photo as I’m posting looking for advice and help

Delete the app and download it again.

Check if the Facebook app has been granted permission to access photos in iPhone settings under Privacy > Photos. If the issue persists, consider reinstalling the Facebook app or restarting your device.
